Removing audio from a video and fixing it
My audio was very scratchy with noise in the background and even though these aren’t the clips I’m going to use in my final video, I still would like for them to sound half decent. So I imported the video into SoundBooth [it’s not just for podcasts, as you know] and messed with the audio and exported the files as .avi’s [without video.] Then when I went into premiere and deleted the previously linked audio file and added the new fixed audio file to the audio timeline. I’m sure you already figured this out for yourself, but hopefully it can help someone.
