Different Camera Shots

For those new at video filming, Here are a few different camera shots you could use in your projects.

Pan – A central movement from left to right with the camera

Dolly Zoom – Moving physically closer to your target that you are filming while simultaneously zooming away to keep the target the same size on the screen (this is used for many horror films)

Arc Shot – Moving physically in a semi – circle around your target.

Point of View Shot – A series of shots that begins with a target doing an action, then the POV shot of the target doing the action, then back out on the target finishing the action.

Many more camera shots can be found here.
