HTML link shortcut

When creating links on your page, especially if you’re making a lot of them, there is a quicker way to do it then browsing all your files and opening more windows.

First, highlight the text in your HTML that you want to link to another page.

Once highlighted, find the HTML document you want to link to in the files/assets window located in the bottom right handcorner of my dreamweaver. Choose the file you want, and drag it into the link space in the bottom of my program.

You will notice after you click the screen, that your text on the design page has changed (to however you’ve styled your links to appear), showing a successful link creation!
