Creating Free-form Bubble Text With the Penn Tool (Premiere)

This DIY will show you how to create text that you want to overlay your video in a free-form way.  The texts that they give you can be what you’re lucking for, but if you are looking for something that is more “free-form” and something you can shape yourself, this might help you.

Click on the most left window –>New item button –> New tile.  You will get this image below, and click on the pen tool.

The pen tool works in a set of refrence points.  So it’s like connect the dots.  So click on logical points to form a letter, such as a D in the picture below.  Once you have your D (or other letter) you can stretch it to whatever shape you would like.  You can change the opacity, the colors, add a gradient and numerous other effects to this text that you can to other normal titles.  Play with it and get what you need.

Notice the points along the D (the ones in other letter are not shown because they are not selected)
