How to style font
Perhaps one of the simplest ways to individualize one’s work, is through the use of font: different fonts, different styles, and different effects. For instance, one can choose to “center” his/her text in order to add emphasis. If you are unsure of how to install a font (in case the one you hope to use does not appear in the list of fonts to choose from), visit Katrina Oscarson’s post: How To Install A Font.
Once you understand how to use your selected font, the options for creativity are nearly limitless. Using tags such as <i> in order to italicize text, <b> in order to make text bold, or <u> in order to underline tags adds flavor to one’s webpage.
When using a tag, remember to close it with </_(tag letter)_>. Also, remember to include any text which you wish to have effected inside of the tag.
All of these tags are listed in the w3schools tutorial HTML 4.01 / XHTML 1.0 Reference. By adding CSS style to your webpage’s font, you will be able to draw on much more in order to set your work/webpage apart from others’.
