Adobe Flash: Tweening

 

Tweening—creating motion in an animation.

 

Insert or draw a graphic on a separate layer in Flash timeline.

 

Right click on your graphic symbol and select create motion tween.

 

Now click and drag your graphic symbol to create a motion tween.

 

You can view your motion by going into the timeline and moving the scrubber brush across the frames you created.

 

You will notice a black diamond at the end of the frame.  Otherwise known as a keyframe, this black diamond denotes when the motion will stop.
