Adobe Flash: Tweening

Tweening—creating motion in an animation.

Insert or draw a graphic on a separate layer in Flash timeline.

Right click on your graphic symbol and select create motion tween.

Now click and drag your graphic symbol to create a motion tween.

You can view your motion by going into the timeline and moving the scrubber brush across the frames you created.

You will notice a black diamond at the end of the frame.  Otherwise known as a keyframe, this black diamond denotes when the motion will stop.
