Photoshop quick color change

Today I am going to be showing you how to quickly and easily swap out colors in Photoshop.

First things first, upload a picture.

You need to go to the menu bar and click: images>adjustment>replace color

Then use your dropper tool to select the color you wish to change (I picked the penguin’s color)Image

(please click to see full picture)

Once a color is selected, the color that will be changing shows up as white in the “replacement color” box.

Simply adjust the sliders under “replacement” and watch the magic

(please click to see full picture)

I slid the lightness bar to the left to make the penguin darker.

And there you have it, easy, quick color change.

  1. I find this blog post very useful because it is a simple procedure that can be done really easily, and personally this is something that I would like to know how to do. But aside from sliding the lightness bar, how would you change the color, for example, from gray to an unrelated color like bright green?
