How to Add a Link to Your Webpage!

Have you ever wondered how to put a link on your webpage? Need to link your Twitter to your webpage? Tune in to learn how!

After opening up dreamweaver, look at your code and get ready to begin!

The standard code you’re going to want to use will look like this: <a href=”url“>Link text</a>

After typing that simple code into Dreamweaver the next thing you’re going to want to do is replace the “url” with your own link! This is easy, don’t worry!

Go to the link you want to include in your webpage. For example, I used my Twitter profile. Next, copy the link of your Twitter profile (Ex: and paste in into the part that says “url” in the code above.

Next, replace Link Text with what the link is leading the reader to. For example under link text, I would put My Twitter!

Your code within Dreamweaver should look like this now! (Look at the blue highlighted code)

You have now officially put a link into your webpage! Great job!
